What we run ourselves
We are our own first and toughest customer. The following applications are used in the day-to-day operations of a corporate group with nine companies, three locations, and 110 workstations—not just in a demo.
- Purchasing Application
- Demand reporting, approval, and ordering for the entire group. Replaces an Excel round-robin process that previously ran through four email inboxes.
- Order Entry from PDF
- Incoming orders are scanned and created as documents in the ERP. What used to be manual data entry is now a verification process.
- Controlling Dashboard
- Key metrics from the ERP, updated daily, with year-over-year comparisons and a group-wide view. Replaces a report that was previously created manually each month.
- Reporting
- Replacement of a deprecated reporting server with a custom interface using the same data—without license costs and without a migration project.
- Time and Loading Tracking
- Mobile data entry in the warehouse and at the freight forwarder, with validation rules that catch incorrect entries before they make it into billing.

A working application with real data, not placeholders. You click through it and point out what’s wrong.

Permissions, validation rules, error handling, data backup, integration with ERP or inventory management. The part that prototypes leave out and that production requires.

Documentation, training, and source code. You decide whether we continue to provide support or whether your team takes over.

What it costs
We work with a fixed price per development phase instead of an open hourly budget. You know the cost of each phase before it begins, and you can stop after any phase.
- What Drives the Price
- The number of interfaces, not the number of screens. An application without integrations can be built quickly; every connection to ERP, inventory management, or banking systems costs more than the user interface itself.
- What lowers the price
- Clean source data and a single point of contact with decision-making authority. The most expensive projects are those where no one is allowed to make decisions.
- Ongoing Costs
- There are no user licenses when running on your own hardware. What remains are operations, data backup, and further development—all predictable and without sudden spikes as the number of users grows.

- What does a custom application cost?
- The usual range runs from a low five-figure sum for an internal tool to a multiple of that for an application the business depends on. Before we start you get the number at which the project pays for itself — not an open-ended timesheet.
- How long until the first result?
- After the first conversation we build a working prototype, usually within one to three weeks. That is what we use to decide what goes to production — instead of debating a specification for six months.
- What happens if you are no longer available?
- The code is yours and lives in your repository — documented and built with mainstream tools: Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL. Any developer can take over. No proprietary framework, no maintenance contract as a leash.
- Does it run in-house or in the cloud?
- Either. Our preference is your own hardware, but where that does not add up the same application runs at an EU host, or as a mix. Your data and your numbers decide it, not our preference.
