Twenty years of IT, grown with the business

I built the IT at SENN Gruppe myself over twenty years, from the first computer with a printer to the infrastructure for nine companies at three locations. Five acquisitions, each one an IT integration: domains, mail servers, ERP, file shares, networking. None of it was designed on paper first. It grew inside live operations, where every decision had to hold up the next morning.

Running the same systems for twenty years teaches you one thing above all: what breaks later. A shortcut taken today has to be lived with for a decade, usually by the same person who took it. That is the standard I build to.

What this means for your project

You will not spend the first three meetings explaining how a company works. Cost pressure, process reality, ISO 9001, GDPR are the conditions I work under myself, so we can start at the actual problem.

Every enquiry gets an honest assessment within two working days, including when the answer is no. From the first conversation to production you have one point of contact: me. No sales, no ticket ping-pong.

Three things I do differently

Technology-neutral, because I do not sell vendor lock-in

I earn nothing from licences, commissions or reseller margins, so the technology decision follows your problem and not a partner list. Because the AI gets built inside your running operation, model choice stays free as well: behind a gateway the models remain swappable and nothing changes for the people using them.

On-prem, cloud or mixed, whichever adds up for you

My own preference is on-premise. The SENN Gruppe runs entirely on its own hardware, because for an industrial operation with its own fleet, its own power plant and an ISO certification that is the right architecture. It is not right for everybody: own servers tie up capital, and for many businesses the cloud or a mix is the better answer. Where something does go to a cloud, I pick European providers and, wherever there is a serious option, software from the EU. What decides it are your data, your requirements and your numbers.

No spec document, a prototype

I do not believe in requirement documents that are outdated six months later. After the first call I build a working prototype, in days or weeks rather than months. That is what we decide production on, which spares everyone the paper debates.
