Twenty years of IT, grown with the business

We built the IT at SENN Gruppe ourselves over 20 years — from the first computer and printer to the infrastructure for nine companies across three locations. Five acquisitions, each one an IT integration: domains, mail servers, ERP, file shares, networking. None of it was drawn up on paper first. It grew in production, where every decision had to hold up the next morning.

Twenty years of running the same systems teaches one thing above all: what breaks later. Shortcuts taken today are shortcuts someone has to live with for a decade — usually us. That is the standard we build to.

Three things we do differently

Technology-neutral — because we don’t sell vendor lock-in

We don’t earn from licences, commissions or reseller margins. Technology decisions follow your problem, not our partner list. And because we work forward-deployed — the AI is built inside your operation — model freedom is part of the deal: behind a gateway, models stay swappable without users noticing.

On-prem, cloud or mixed — whichever adds up for you

Our own preference is on-premise: the SENN Gruppe runs entirely on its own hardware, because for an industrial operation with its own fleet, its own power plant and ISO certification that is the right architecture. It is not the right one for everybody — own servers tie up capital, and for many businesses the cloud or a mix is the better answer. Where it goes to the cloud, we pick European providers and European software wherever there is a serious option. What decides it is your data, your requirements and your numbers.

No spec document — a prototype

We don’t believe in requirement documents that are outdated six months later. After the first call, we build a working prototype — in days or weeks, not months. That’s what we use to decide what goes to production. No paper debates.
